What you’ll do:
- Prepare accurate estimates and scopes for residential remodeling projects
- Review plans to identify scope gaps, risks, and construction considerations
- Collaborate with designers, project developers, and production teams
- Coordinate pricing and scope with trusted trade partners
- Support smooth handoffs from pre-construction to production
- Maintain pricing data and estimating standards

This Role Is Great For:
- Professionals with hands-on commercial and/or residential construction experience who want to move into a planning-focused role, including:
- Commercial/Residential construction business owners
- Project managers or assistant project managers
- Carpenters and skilled trades professionals
- Experienced handymen transitioning into estimating
You might be a Great fit if you:
- Have 3-5 years of construction experience and understand how projects actually get built
- Have a minimum of 1-2 years of estimating, bidding, or pricing experience (remodeling preferred)
- Enjoy planning, organizing, and thinking through construction details
- Are ready for a “bags-off” role focused on estimating rather than daily field work
- Are comfortable using technology such as Buildertrend, Microsoft 365, AI tools, and other estimating software
- Appreciate working with a team that values craftsmanship, organization, and clear processes

Residential Interior Designer
At Custom Craft, we believe thoughtful design transforms the way people live. As a Designer, you’ll guide clients through the remodeling and construction design process – from early concepts through final details. You’ll be responsible for creating drawings, space planning, cabinetry layouts, and specifying fixtures and finishes that bring the client’s vision to life. Working closely with our sales and production teams, you’ll ensure designs are both creative and feasible, selections are finalized, and every detail is communicated clearly for successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Conduct site measurements, input existing conditions into CAD, and develop initial design concepts that reflect client needs, budgets, and project goals. Refine designs based on client feedback.
- Selections Management: Guide clients through cabinetry, fixtures, and finish selections; develop cohesive design palettes; and manage allocated design hours and expectations.
- Project Preparation: Assemble construction plans, cabinetry layouts, bills of materials, and permit submittals. Finalize and obtain client approval on all selections and design details.
- Project Support: Place orders for cabinetry and materials, prepare job binders, and participate in project handoff meetings with production staff. Provide design-related support during construction.
- Collaboration & Representation: Attend sales/design meetings, assist with design seminars and client events, and ensure the selection studio is organized and up to date. Represent Custom Craft with professionalism at all times.
