The homeowners were frustrated by the awkward layout of their kitchen — a cramped workspace often led them to crash into each other. Other problems included a lack of storage, bad lighting, and a cold and drafty breakfast room. The new modern makeover now reflects their tastes, and the whole space works better.

The avid cook needed more room — the new floorplan moved the new induction cooktop to the peninsula. Previously, it was too close to the refrigerator with little prep counter space nearby. In the breakfast area, base cabinets were added for additional storage. The luxury vinyl flooring looks like concrete to complete the modern makeover.
