Project Overview

Our client’s former kitchen was dark, cramped, and awkward to maneuver around. Those dark, dysfunctional days are gone. Infused with light, the functional new kitchen layout features clear pathways and ample storage space making it ideal for meal preparation and entertaining alike.

DESIGN Process

To achieve our client’s goal of a bright and open kitchen, it required us to remove the original window above the sink and replace it with three Pella double hung windows. We also removed the soffits and put in recessed lighting above the new windows as well as throughout the entire kitchen. The painted maple cabinets were finished in a nice shade of white, Greek Villa, also brightening up the space. The contrast of the grey island adds some warmth to the space, nicely tying in with the Berwyn Cambria Quartz countertops.
