Lansdale Owner's Suite Transformation

Project Overview

This Lansdale family loves the historic charm of their 1930s home but desired a more modern owner’s suite that felt closer to today’s standards of comfort and style. The original Jack-and-Jill layout was not a good fit for their lifestyle, and the space in general was feeling rundown and cramped.

Space was very limited in the primary bedroom. Without functional storage in the closets, our clients resorted to keeping some of their clothing and accessories in the guest bedroom. What little space they did have was segmented, creating an awkward flow and difficulties arranging and bringing in furniture. In the bathroom, the vanity was very small, leaving the homeowners with little storage or counterspace to get ready in the morning.

DESIGN Process

Some rearranging was needed to increase function and give these clients the space they needed to be comfortable. Since the guest bedroom was not absolutely necessary, the best solution was to turn it into a large, luxurious bathroom and convert the original bathroom into a spacious walk-in closet.

The gorgeous new bathroom looks fresh and modern, with an elegant marble tile floor, gold accents, and updated lighting. The furniture-style vanity is a functional statement piece with plenty of convenient storage to keep them organized. Best of all, their new, curbless shower is an inviting oasis, with rainfall and handheld showerheads, glazed ceramic subway tile, and chrome finishes.

These homeowners now have an updated owner’s suite with plenty of space, storage, and style to enjoy for years to come.
