Menorah Lighting

Celebrate the Festival of Lights at Lansdale’s Menorah Lighting! This joyful, all-ages event features a performance by the Horns of Hanukkah, delicious doughnuts, hot chocolate, crafts, and more. It’s a wonderful way to gather with the community and honor the traditions of Hanukkah.

Holidays at Fonthill Castle

Holidays at Fonthill Castle provide a magical opportunity to explore the historic home of Henry Mercer, decked out in festive splendor. Running now through the end of December, visitors can enjoy guided “Winter Wonderland” tours that showcase the unique handcrafted tiles, eclectic architecture, and holiday decorations of this early 20th-century landmark. For an evening treat, special “Holiday Lights Meander” events transform the castle into a glowing wonderland, complete with illuminated grounds and seasonal ambiance. Reservations are recommended for some tours and events, with plenty of opportunities to experience the beauty of this celebrated estate during the holidays​.

Holidays at Peddler’s Village

📍 2400 Street Road, Lahaska, PA

🗓 December 2024 – January 2024

Peddler’s Village in Bucks County transforms into a winter wonderland during the holiday season, offering a host of festive attractions and events. Visitors can enjoy extended shopping hours, unique gifts from more than 60 specialty shops, and delicious holiday food and drinks.

The annual Gingerbread Competition & Display showcases whimsical entries created by the public, viewable from mid-November through early January. Additionally, Holly Jolly Weekend runs December 7th & 8th and features Santa parades, live music, family activities, and a magical nighttime display of lights.

From casual strolls through the illuminated village to indulging in seasonal treats or finding the perfect gift, Peddler’s Village offers something for everyone during the holidays. Admission and parking are free, but arriving early is recommended for popular events to avoid crowds​.

Holiday Bricktacular at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia 

📍 Plymouth Meeting Mall, 500 W Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA

🗓 November 29, 2024 – January 1, 2025

 Get ready for a brick-filled holiday adventure at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia during their Holiday Bricktacular! Families can enjoy festive LEGO® activities, including crafting seasonal creations with Master Model Builders, meeting holiday-themed LEGO characters, and marveling at the sparkling LEGO holiday displays. The experience is designed for all ages, offering an immersive environment filled with millions of LEGO bricks, a 4D LEGO movie theater, and interactive rides.

As part of the event, the Build to Give initiative invites visitors to create LEGO hearts, contributing to a global donation of LEGO sets to children in need. It’s a chance to spread holiday cheer while making memories with your family.

Wild Lights at Elmwood Park Zoo

Elmwood Park Zoo’s annual holiday event Wild Lights is sure to be a dazzling experience. This magical walk-through attraction features stunning light displays, illuminated animals, and live entertainment. Families can explore the zoo transformed into a glowing winter wonderland with themed sections, festive music, and seasonal treats.

Kids will love interactive activities and meeting some of the zoo’s resident animals, while adults can enjoy warm beverages and holiday snacks. Wild Lights is a rain-or-shine event, operating on scheduled nights (closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day). Tickets are required for all guests, including zoo members.

Goschenhoppen German Christmas Market

Experience authentic Pennsylvania German holiday traditions in this historic setting. Watch artisans demonstrate traditional crafts while enjoying the aroma of roasted chestnuts and fresh-baked treats. Browse handcrafted ornaments, folk art, and seasonal decorations while learning about historical holiday customs. Live music and carol singing add to the festive atmosphere.
