2025 was a year filled with varied projects, creative problem-solving, and homeowners who trusted us with spaces that matter to them. Each project sparked new ideas, careful planning, and plenty of moments we’re proud of.

Rather than a traditional annual roundup, we decided to mix things up a bit — recognizing a few spaces for the smart solutions, craftsmanship, and collaboration that brought them together.

Friends, we bring you the first annual Crafties!

Here’s a look at the homes featured on this year’s list.

306 Carpenter Ln 2 1

🏆 Best Use of Existing Space

This Lansdale kitchen is practically unrecognizable from its formerly dated self (it’s worth trying the before-and-after slider — the change is dramatic). The original kitchen felt restricted by a layout that pushed everyone into the same corner. By removing the wall to the dining space and borrowing a bit of underutilized square footage from the adjacent living room, the team created just enough room for the island the family wanted.

A larger window brings in essential natural light, inset cabinetry elevates the feel, and flush-mounted appliances streamline the entire room. The refreshed beverage center adds warmth and function, turning a once-cramped kitchen into a welcoming gathering spot.

🏆    Most Light-Filled Transformation

Plenty of projects brighten a kitchen, but few do it quite as dramatically as this Spring House remodel. The original layout suffered from inadequate walkways and a work zone that pulled everyone into one tight corner. The turning point came with a single design decision: replacing a set of windows with a nine-foot sliding door.

The added daylight completely changes the character of the space, opening it visually and creating an easy connection to the backyard. Paired with a dedicated beverage station, expanded pantry storage, and a reworked layout that eliminates bottlenecks, the new kitchen feels fresh, open, and effortless.

🏆     Best Indoor–Outdoor Connection

Few projects this year blended indoor comfort with outdoor access as gracefully as this one. Check out how beautifully this Eagleville kitchen, sunroom, and deck flow together, opening up the home and letting in loads of natural light.

We love how the sunroom’s two skylights and stained tongue-and-groove ceiling bring natural warmth to the room, while an exterior door offers convenient access to the deck. With coordinated flooring and paint tying everything together, the kitchen and sunroom now feel like one continuous, light-filled living area.

🏆     Most Dramatic Before-and-After

The transformation of this Plymouth Meeting home is one of the most memorable of the year. The original layout felt segmented and dim, with a too-small island and a floor plan that separated conversations and activities. Opening up the entire back of the house — including removing walls between the kitchen, dining area, and family room — created the expansive, connected layout the homeowners were craving.

Structural posts with custom wood caps keep the long space visually grounded, while the ten-foot peninsula and seating for nine redefine how the family hosts. Natural cherry cabinetry, a custom butcher block end cap, and new windows and doors that now pull abundant light inside make this one of the year’s most notable transformations.

🏆     Best Spa-Like Retreat

This Maple Glen bath stands out for its calm, gracious feel. What was once a space dominated by a bulky deck tub became an open, easy-to-navigate retreat. The zero-threshold shower with blue glass accents, bench seating, and multiple fixtures sets a relaxing tone, while the reconfigured layout makes room for newfound conveniences like a linen closet, dedicated makeup area, and expanded custom vanity.

Thoughtful details — including a wall-mounted heating unit and a standalone bidet — round out the experience, making this one of the year’s most serene makeovers.

What’s Ahead for 2026

We’re already deep into this year’s work. While only a handful of projects are highlighted here, every home we touch is shaped by close collaboration and a shared goal: creating spaces that truly reflect the people who live in them.
